Our mission is simple:

Rhemadance exists to provide quality, professional Christian based dance services and entertainment that encourages, uplifts and inspires all people through dynamic teaching and life changing ministry and performances.

About Rhemadance Company

Rhemadance (Pronounced Ray-mah-dance), was founded in 2004 in the city of Milwaukee, WI, by the dynamic husband and wife team of Louis and Lakeisha Hurd.

The Hurds have been partners in the ministry of dance since August of 2000 when the Lord brought them together to be the leaders of the dance ministry at their home church, Coleman Chapel A.M.E. Church in Kenosha, WI.

They soon joined in marriage and moved to Milwaukee. There they were inspired to take their dance outside of the walls of the local church and put it on a platform that all people could access. Out of this desire, Rhemadance was born.

Louis and Lakeisha have traveled all over the Midwest, to Canada, London, England, the Carribean Islands, and Mexico facilitating workshops, performing and ministering in dance.

They have opened for, shared the stage with and performed before many prominent artists in the Gospel industry including, Fred Hammond, Vickie Winans, Richard Smallwood, Marvin Sapp, BET’s Gerard Henry and Dr. Bobby Jones.  They have performed for the NAACP, Gospel Music Workshops of America (GMWA), The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, and many other corporations, schools and churches.

Most recently Rhemadance took part in leading praise and worship on stage with Micah Stampley, David and Nicole Binion and Paul Wilbur at the 2010 World Summit on Leadership and Prayer, hosted in Milwaukee by Dr. Cindy Trimm, featuring Bishop T.D. Jakes and Pastor Paula White.

In addition, Rhemadance has been blessed to have a home dance studio in Downtown Kenosha where they hold a weekly classes, train dancers and minister to young people through dance.
